Job Summary:


The Lead Product Manager is a senior level role within the company and oversees company product lines or large enterprise platforms deployed across the RE/MAX's network of agents.

This person oversees the multi-team development and operational delivery of a large portfolio of mission critical projects by understanding business requirements, managing changes, removing roadblocks, and communicating broadly with multiple functional groups and stakeholders.

This role is characterized by years of product management, or other relevant, senior level product experience. In addition, the person should have a minimum of 10 years of experience within the real estate industry.

The person filling this role has a perfect understanding of real estate brokers and agents product needs while artfully building products that drive RE/MAX's success in selling both RE/MAX franchises and homes.

This person anticipates bottlenecks, provides escalation management, and builds consensus by understanding stakeholder requirements and constraints. The incumbent is expected to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional teams.

This role also identifies, prioritizes, and advocates for the largest value proposition opportunities, as well as creates and manages new efficiency opportunities from ideation to launch.


Essential Functions:


  • Ability to define product vision and create a passion within other product and business teams to deliver on that vision.
  • Is able to work autonomously and can deliver results against KPIs with very little need for executive management oversight.
  • Uncovers and understands customer needs and translates those needs into both vision and requirements.
  • Works with internal teams, including developers, solution owners, engineers, architects, and operations.
  • Ensures requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Understands, researches, and follows technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as makes recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
  • Understanding of marketing, sales, finance and legal business function and can leverage that understanding into product development workstreams.
  • Follows competitors and conducts capability analysis regularly.
  • Is an expert in Change Management processes.
  • Answers incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
  • Assesses and addresses technical risks.
  • Understands and analyzes metrics, data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems.
  • Uses database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
  • Defines success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Facilitates the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.

Job Qualifications:

10-15 years product management experience

10 year of real estate related experience

Lean product delivery experience

SaaS or PaaS experience preferred

Previous Jira and Google Analytics experience

Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members


Supervisory Responsibilities:

May manage other product managers


Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.


Hire Range/Rate:

$111,027 - $144,335
