About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager, Facilities Management and Support, the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs/alterations to building structures, i.e.
millwork, walls, ceilings, doors etc., and may include cutting keys, building cores for our lock system (training will be provided).
The incumbent is also responsible for in-house renovations and additions, as required.This work must be done in accordance with all codes and Provincial Acts as with all pertinent policies and procedures.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Red-Seal Inter-provincial Carpenter Ticket Required
- 1 year related experience required; 4 years' experience preferred
- Travel between sites may be required, access to reliable transportation required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Permanent, fulltime position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $28.97 Hourly
Successful applicants may be eligible for a signing bonus with a defined Return of Service contract.
