Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team, committed to fostering a positive learning environment for children of diverse backgrounds and needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education. This role involves designing engaging lessons, supporting individual student needs, and collaborating with colleagues to promote a nurturing educational experience. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly valued, especially when working with children with disabilities or in special education settings. Must be confident and ready to join a busy preschool program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula tailored to the developmental stages of children.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and personalized attention.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and team members to monitor progress and address individual needs effectively.
• Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
• Maintain organized classroom materials and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Demonstrate leadership by guiding students through activities and managing classroom behavior professionally.
• Document student progress accurately through written reports and communicate findings clearly .

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, special education strategies, and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is desirable.
• Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal—are essential for effective collaboration.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple responsibilities.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.

Salary will be based on experience and will increase if the candidate hired is an RECE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
