They offer a range of services from architectural design of projects, interior design, residential and commercial construction, passive house and sustainable building solutions, and general contracting, project management and consulting services.

They are looking for a full-time construction estimator to join their team

• Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand the scope, materials, and labor requirements for each project
• Calculate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services based on project specifications. Utilize historic data, industry benchmarks, and current market conditions to develop accurate cost estimates
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and documents, including measurements of dimensions, quantities and areas to determine the required quantities of materials and resources
• Solicit quotes and bids from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive accurate quotes
• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets based on the estimated cost expenses. Present breakdowns in clear and organized manner

• Identify potential risks and uncertainties that could impact project costs and collaborate with team members to minimize risk and control costs

Experience:

• Completion of high school
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a construction trade
• Ability to create and develop production drawings for automation
• Understand complex building envelope systems and Passive House Certification
• PHPP modelling is a benefit

Salary:
$48,300.00 per year
