Temporary Part-Time Operations Clerk:

(Anticipated for a period of up to eighteen (18) months)

What You Will Get To Do

Reporting to, and under the direction of the Executive Assistant, the Part-Time Operations Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and communications support to the Operational Services Staff, including, but not limited to:

  • providing excellent customer service;
- two-way radio dispatch;
- accurate data entry;
- booking of special collections;
- preparation of correspondence;
- compiling of statistical information;
- accurate record keeping;
- filing; and,
- other administrative/clerical duties as assigned.

What You Bring To Our Team


The successful applicant must possess:
- a post-secondary school graduation diploma in Office Administration, or related discipline;
- a minimum of eighteen (18) months of related administrative experience;
- a thorough understanding of municipal government functions and responsibilities;
- demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), at an intermediate level; and
- excellent keyboarding skills to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
