    Baker Tilly SNT has an affiliated law firm SNT Law (the "Firm") that provides clients with expert advice and savvy solutions for corporate and personal matters including acquisitions, dispositions, tax structures, estate planning, and tax compliance. SNT Law serves a variety of clients in the mining, industrial, healthcare, professional services, and non-profit sectors.

    We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and client-driven Corporate Law Clerk to join our Legal team in Sudbury or New Liskeard (remote work may be considered).

    Your primary responsibilities will include:


    • Preparing legal documents and other reports/correspondence in accordance with Firm quality and document standards under the supervision of senior staff or lawyers.


    • Responding to telephone, mail, email and in person requests from lawyers, staff, and clients.


    • Coordinating appointments, meetings, tasks etc. for lawyers.


    • Coordinating timely delivery of client work while managing their own files.


    • Performing annual corporate compliance duties.


    • Drafting various corporate documents related to sales and purchases.


    • Conducting due diligence searches.

    A successful candidate will have:


    • One or more year(s) of experience in a similar role.


    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Outlook).


    • Ability to learn new software and utilize technology.


    • Maintain confidentiality and a high level of attention to detail.


    • Client-service oriented, including strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.


    • Ability to multi-task and manage your time in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills; bilingualism is an asset.


    • Previous experience in a Law firm is an asset.
