With projects located in Georgina On to London On Metro is looking for you to join their growing team Currently seeking experienced Directional Drill Operators in the Telecommunications sector to join our growing team in Brampton Ontario.

This position will be responsible for completing horizontal drilling at various site locations as assigned by the Departmental Manager/ Project Foreman.

Comprehension of locates, ability to complete company administrative paperwork (timesheets, inspections etc) to name a few would be required.

Perform directional drilling (horizontal drilling) with capabilities of using 40x55, 24x40, 10x15, or 23x30 Vermeer units
Operate locator head if required
Work jointly with Foreman to ensure safe drilling guidelines are met
Follow TSSA/ policies for safe drilling
Ability to understand, read/ interpret locate packages
Disciplined in prioritization and organization of work.
Excellent punctuality and attendance
Adhere to all applicable company standards/regulations and all Health & Safety regulations as outlined by the company
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Ability to lift "heavy" objects exceeding 50lbs
Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to read and write in English

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
WHMIS (valid within 1 year)
Emergency First Aid (valid within 3 year)
Working at Heights (valid within 3 years)
Valid AZ license with clean abstract would be considered an asset. Minimum G drivers license required

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$29.00-$40.00 per hour
