Your Opportunity:


In coordination with clinical and business managers: Analyses, interprets and models data and business procedures to ensure data output reflects effective workflow, meets requirements and follows regional policies and procedures.

Provides planning and direction to Regional Pain Program staff on transforming business processes into meaningful data sets.

Manages, coordinates and completes the analysis, design, development, testing and documentation of smaller and larger information-management, statistical, evaluation and other systems with focus on data integrity.

Liaises and collaborates with external technical staff to ensure current, accurate and updated software, including scheduling and roll-out of new systems or upgrades of current systems.


Statistical, evaluation and ad hoc reports:
Coordinates and provides analysis, design, development and documentation of reports ensuring reports meet user requirements. Tracks operational and evaluation data and reports on statistics, estimates and reviews. Uses report writer tools to compile data into presentation format. Provides coaching, mentoring and consultation to other staff members.

You will be working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, responsible for supporting the clinical activities of the clinic.

This is done through the development, analysis, and audit of reporting systems for the purpose of decision making, quality/care improvement, planning and evaluation.

This requires a clear understanding of clinical relevance, comprehensive knowledge of data collection, processing and evaluation methodologies, and understanding health care delivery requirements.

Collaborates with other groups in setting goals and working effectively in teams to achieve agreed upon goals as set forth in the Chronic Pain Program Strategic Plan.


Description:


As an Analyst, you will coordinate and support a variety of complex program initiatives and work within an evidence based health promotion framework that collaborates within the multidisciplinary team to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of the program.

You will lead the completion of required reporting on departmental deliverables, as determined.

You will utilize research and evaluation knowledge, develop frameworks, plan methodologies, collect data, disseminate knowledge, score and interpret psychological tests, while facilitating the uptake of recommendations.

Required Qualifications:


Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field in conjunction with a minimum of two years' direct related experience or master's degree in a health related field.

Experience in collecting, analyzing, interpreting and reporting multiple measures data set. Experience in Mental Health performance indicator development. Experience in designing and conducting evaluation research.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of related experience in computer software, electronic medical records, and data management. Advanced problem-solving skills. In depth knowledge and skill with business intelligence, analytics, data integration and warehousing Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and organization skills. Ability to gain cooperation of a variety of stakeholders including managers, clinicians, physicians and colleagues. Ability to write technical and procedural documents.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data analysis in a healthcare environment. Experience with EPIC or other medical EMRs.
