Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the Recruiter is accountable for attraction, recruitment and selection activities ultimately enabling the business to achieve their goals and objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively partner with the business to develop an indepth understanding of the company's resourcing needs to assist in targeting top talent.
  • Continually analyze the current environment and emerging needs of the organization to provide informed recommendations on tools or process changes that will positively affect the company's ability to attract and retain top talent.
  • Own and manage the entire recruiting lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.
  • Streamline and communicate recruitment procedures and programs to managers.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with Force Inspection's Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Minimum 3 years proven progressive experience in recruitment.
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation is an asset.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and the Alberta Human Rights Act.
  • Tactful and diplomatic; demonstrates discretion and business acumen; able to work with diverse personalities and work styles.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is essential.
  • Sound analytical thinking, problem solving, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Strong work ethic, with a positive cando attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
