SUMMARY:
Collins aerospace is looking to hire
Process Technician - Sealant who will be reported to the Supervisor, Assembly, as the
Process Technician - Sealant, you will be involved in the preparation of components before and after the paint process.
Work Shift:
Weekend Nights Shift, Friday - Sunday, 3x12 (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)
The work location is on site at Oakville facility, Ontario - Canada
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Part loading, fixturing and unloading
- Masking, sanding, cleaning and after paint demasking & cleaning
- Responsible for following priority schedule, ensuring lead times are met and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Participate as an active contributor to a safe, teamoriented environment and act toward the implementation and execution of lean principles
- Perform other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 Diploma certificate, in the absence of the HS Diploma, 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 1 year related manufacturing experience.
- Experience in material handling and hoist operations is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with industrial painting, masking, and sealing would be an asset
- Good physical condition and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work either independently or collaboratively
- Strong PC Skills
