Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Educational Assistant to work in our Grade Two-Four class. This position is from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, beginning as soon as possible.

Must have classroom experience working with
children 5 to 8 years old:
Must speak, read and write English very well.
Be warm and nurturing with a passion for working with children.
Able to assist with the program and implement learning activities, clean and organize classrooms, effectively communicate with parents, and be able to work as a team.
Can work in a fastpaced environment.
Is hardworking, flexible, organized, selfmotivated, and a team player.
Prepares and maintains the indoor and outdoor play areas for children's use.
Participates in meal times.
RECE or OCTs encouraged to apply.

Qualifications Required:

2 years of classroom experience is a must
Vulnerable Sector Screening in the last 6 months
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Uptodate Immunizations and twostep TB test

Pay and Benefits

Paid training and professional development
Two paid sick days
Position is from set start date to end of school year (June 16st). Employment opened to our summer camp and in September 2023.

$17.00-$19.00 per hour
