Aon Is Looking for an Analyst for our Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) Consulting Practice.

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within Aon.

What the day will look like
In conjunction with the Consultant help deliver and support Capital Accumulation Plan (CAP) strategy to small and mid-sized clients
Technical and analytical support for strategic growth opportunities in alignment with Aon's vision and goals
In collaboration with the Small & Medium Enterprise unit, supporting the development of marketing campaigns, market facing communication or sales strategies to enable growth of the retirement savings solution and Health CBU solution, internally and externally
Maintain time tracking requirements by utilizing appropriate Project Codes
Comply with our National filing protocol (Maintain Client Records)
Support National revenue and Profit Objectives (Adhering to or supporting the creation of new efficient processes)
Maintain CRM platforms
Support requests from Finance and other business units

Deliver regular ongoing client ready work: Marketings, Discussion Guides and Plan Reviews
Deliver assigned project work and consistently meet project deadlines and produce quality work
Complete all Education, Learning, and Compliance courses
Coaching and training - Attendance & active participation in training or help deliver training
Support all D&I company objectives and participate in educational/information sessions
Prepare presentations and conduct searches on CAP topics for CAP providers
Review the investment beliefs and strategies of clients


Prepare performance monitoring client reports which includes:
Write conclusions and recommendations and other sections in investment reports;
Peer reviewing work performed by other analysts;
Gathering qualitative and quantitative data from external managers, custodians and other data providers;
Calculating performance statistics;
Creating and modifying charts and tables;
Working with a variety of investment and excel-based tools
How this opportunity is different

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Minimum of 2 year of proven experience (may have been gained through co-op or intern programs)
Proven experience in a financial / investment consulting, insurance or pension environment
Post-secondary degree and completion of relevant business accreditation (e.g., CEBS, AMF, etc.) designation is preferred
Must be a highly motivated, self-starter, customer-service and team-oriented individual
General knowledge of the institutional investment industry, understanding of investment concepts and the financial markets
Developing, innovating, and standardizing client deliverables/solutions
Strong research and analytical skills
Highly organized and results-orientated individual, strong attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to make decisions and develop solutions
Superior oral and written communication skills
Bilingualism (French and English) an asset
Ability to build and establish relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and clients
Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and adaptable to changing business needs

Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Excel (e.g., array and look-up formulas)
A keen desire to learn; and must have a positive attitude combined with a desire to contribute to the success of Aon
