The Position:The


12-Month Contract

What you're responsible for:


  • Manage all aspects of field events, roadshows, field marketing and training initiatives, campaigns, and national and regional meetings
  • Prepare for events by determining purpose and identifying/managing assets, labor and logistics required for execution
  • Manage budgets, forecasting and reporting to senior management on forecast versus actual spend
  • Research, design and procure all branded promotional materials used in the field through all related programs.
  • Source and distribute all prizing using SECA approved portals and procedures
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Training Team to ensure proper facilitation and support is provided at all events
  • Establish/maintain good relationships with venues and vendors
  • Ensure the Samsung brand remains top of mind, uptodate and exciting to Retail Sales Associates and Field Teams at all supported events
  • Prepare post event reports, review impact and ROI
  • Use Project Management tool to effectively track and achieve all project timelines

To join our team:


  • Three to five years in event planning/coordination in retail, retail operations, merchandising, sales, marketing, account management or related field
  • Must possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organization
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities
  • Superior organizational and planning skills are required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English (Bilingual is an asset)
  • Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in business or marketing is an asset
