Achievers is looking to hire a

Global Payroll and Benefits Associate to join our A-mazing Payroll and Benefits Team This individual will be responsible for assisting the team with running smooth payroll and benefit schemes globally for Achievers. Reporting to the Global Payroll and Benefits Manager this individual will be a collaborative, team player and help us process compensation programs for our A-players all over the world


Responsibilities:


  • Full cycle preparation or administration of payroll globally in compliance with required legislation in each country (USA, UK, Australia, Germany, France and backup for Canada and Singapore).
  • Yearend activities including reconciliations, submissions, and distribution of employee tax forms globally.
  • Benefits administration globally including processing changes, monthly reconciliations of benefit invoices against payroll records, timely submission of contributions, etc.
  • Administer and maintain compliance for global pension programs: UK pension, CDN RRSP, US 401K and Australia Superfund.
  • Provide JE support for payroll and benefit cost allocations by country and department.
  • Reconcile necessary remittances to any applicable government agencies, 3rd party providers and benefits providers.
  • Keep abreast of any legislative changes pertaining to payroll and benefits globally and coordinate system parameter changes.
  • Liaise with government bodies as required.
  • Respond to questions and provide information to employees, managers, support staff and departments on all payroll and benefits matters.
  • Aid with yearend financial audit and any other third parties' audits.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:


  • PCP certification (an asset)
  • 5+ years of progressive payroll experience for Canada & US.
  • Experience in Global payroll (an asset).
  • 2+ years of benefits administration experience in a global setting.
  • Experience with ADP WFN and/or Ceridian Dayforce (an asset).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Handles confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in data analysis and auditing procedures (preferred).
  • Aptitude to multitask and prioritize.
  • Demonstrates initiative to solve business problems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
