Position Summary

Duties

Create detailed project charters, plans and schedules in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders to establish project scope, schedule, budget, accountabilities, risk, monitoring and controls, and post project audit/evaluation as part of a program roadmap
Manage and maintain project budget and other project documentation following project management best practices
Collaborate with Digital and business areas to prioritize upcoming projects, develop project budgets and ensure available resources
Deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations to project stakeholders, sponsors and executivelevel leaders
Manage procurement of goods and services, vendor contracts, relationships and delivery
Collaborate and facilitate requirements gathering within a multidisciplinary team environment, including executives, managers, clinicians, business teams, technical stakeholders and vendors
Facilitate development of operational model and plans for transitioning to a sustainable state
Coach and manage project teams

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years project management experience or equivalent required
Undergraduate Degree required in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required. Masters degree an asset
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical teams
Strong analytical, prioritization and organization skills, with attention to detail
Flexibility to work effectively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
Experience in formal procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent required

Familiarity with healthcare information systems, interfaces, HL7, ITIL, and/or enterprise architecture an asset
Experience with cyber security and privacy regulations an asset
Other certification (Lean/Six-Sigma Black Belt, ITIL, IIBA, Change Management) an asset
Supervisory or managerial experience preferred

Meetings and Travel
Office is in the Toronto Downtown area. Digital supports a hybrid work environment.
