Position Summary

Duties

  • Create detailed project charters, plans and schedules in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders to establish project scope, schedule, budget, accountabilities, risk, monitoring and controls, and post project audit/evaluation as part of a program roadmap
  • Manage and maintain project budget and other project documentation following project management best practices
  • Collaborate with Digital and business areas to prioritize upcoming projects, develop project budgets and ensure available resources
  • Deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations to project stakeholders, sponsors and executivelevel leaders
  • Manage procurement of goods and services, vendor contracts, relationships and delivery
  • Collaborate and facilitate requirements gathering within a multidisciplinary team environment, including executives, managers, clinicians, business teams, technical stakeholders and vendors
  • Facilitate development of operational model and plans for transitioning to a sustainable state
  • Coach and manage project teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience or equivalent required
  • Undergraduate Degree required in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required. Masters degree an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical teams
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and organization skills, with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work effectively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
  • Experience in formal procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent required

  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems, interfaces, HL7, ITIL, and/or enterprise architecture an asset
  • Experience with cyber security and privacy regulations an asset
  • Other certification (Lean/Six-Sigma Black Belt, ITIL, IIBA, Change Management) an asset
  • Supervisory or managerial experience preferred

Meetings and Travel
Office is in the Toronto Downtown area. Digital supports a hybrid work environment.
