Airport Security Service Technician (Level 1, 2, and 3)

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide service, installation, repair and maintenance of electrical/mechanical systems and equipment
Order, receive and return parts as required
Complete documentation and reports in a timely and concise manner
Liaise with onsite staff and partners in a professional manner
Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies

Education/Skills Requirements:

Graduate of technical school, military training in electronics engineering technology, and/or related trade certification required
Experience in a field service environment with direct experience in xray, screening technologies, and/or knowledge of complex mechanical systems is highly desirable
Computer literacy and aptitude for learning specialized software programs
Motivated, selfstarter with strong communication skills (English and/or French fluency)
Excellent customer interface and communication skills, both verbal and written are required
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and Operating Systems

Physical Requirements:

Possess strong handson abilities, manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina
Capability to sit, stand for prolonged periods, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and work areas is required
Some lifting of weight up to 50 lbs / 23 kgs

Additionally, to qualify and be considered for this employment, you must:

Pass a Government of Canada security background checks for high level security clearance
Be permanent resident of Canada, or minimum 5 years of living in Canada with a valid work visa.
Hold a valid driver's license and reliable access to motor vehicle transportation
Hold a valid passport or work visa for training in the United States
Have the ability to work an irregular work schedule, which involves shift work and oncall duties
Have the ability to travel to remote airport locations for maintenance and emergency repairs.
Have the ability to work on special projects from time to time and travel on short notice as required.

What KPrime Offers:

An entrance salary range of $45,000 to $85,000 per year with increase in line with advancement of skills through training
