OVERVIEW
_ Key responsibilities of this role will be to:_
Design and innovate the summer boarding life programme to align with market demands and enhance business viability.
Research, conceptualize, and execute the annual summer programme with a strong focus on business growth.
Oversee the comprehensive delivery of the entire summer programme offering, including hiring, facilities coordination, programme execution, and on-site supervision with a business-oriented approach.
Create and execute the Summer Programme curriculum by evaluating programmes, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities, specifically emphasizing boarding offerings to expand on and reflect the Ridley ethos.
Collaborate with HR for recruitment, designing and implementing a staffing model aligned with business objectives.
Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external partners to expand business networks and collaborations.
Collaborate with the CFO and Assistant Head for budget creation and maintenance, ensuring business-oriented financial strategies.
Undertake additional responsibilities as needed by the Assistant Head, Co-curriculars, and Community Connections, aligning with the business development perspective.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education in sales, business, or marketing, or relevant professional experience in these fields.
Proven track record in recruiting for high-quality national and international boarding programmes.
Experience in recreational/educational programme management would be an asset.
Demonstrated experience managing direct reports including seasonal staff.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets and forecasts.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set own priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines.
Excellent customer service, including ability to represent Ridley and its interests in a professional and conscientious manner.
Effective written and oral communication skills, active listening skills and able to build positive relationships.
