    Electrical – MineFlorence Copper,Arizona

    Florence Copper is in the historic Copper Corridor of Arizona – a region steeped in copper mining history.

    Once operational, Florence Copper is expected to have the lowest energy and greenhouse gas-intensity ("GHG") of any copper producer in North America and will help reduce the United States' reliance on foreign producers for metal that is critical for the transition to a low-carbon economy.

    F lorence Copper LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Taseko Mines Limited which is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.

    Taseko is also the operator and 75% owner of the Gibraltar copper/molybdenum mine in Canada and various other development projects.

    We are looking for a n Electrician at our Florence, Arizona site.

    Reporting to the Shift Supervisors , the Electrician occupies a safety sensitive position and is responsible for troubleshooting electrical problems, repair and overhaul of electrical equipment and controls.

    Install, repair , and maintain electrical equipment and components in an industrial setting.
    Observe safety rules and procedures and meet electrical codes.
    Perform equipment troubleshooting, quality testing and inspections.
    Make decisions based upon technical documents and electrical knowledge.
    Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks and projects.
    Assist other maintenance and/or operations employees as may be required.
    Education and Work Experience
    3+ years of proven electrical experience in an industrial or process environment. Maintenance experience at SXEW, wellfield, or water treatment facilities is preferred.
    Associate degree in electrical related field highly desirable.
    Journeyman level or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
    Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, Internet highly desirable.
    Experience in collecting and entering data.
    Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools and industrial equipment.
    Awareness of national, state and local electrical codes.
    Ability to read schematics, blueprints and other technical documents.
    Self-motivated, managing multiple projects and activities.

    This position will include some office work, but some work will be performed in all-weather conditions both outdoors, and in a plant setting.
