Perfect for university, college or high school students - we are looking for a receptionist to join our team We are looking for someone to work weeknight evenings and every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) during the day.

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Receptionist will provide the initial face-to-face and telephone contact with visitors, residents and families.

The receptionist is responsible for covering employee sick call ins as well as other scheduling needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet visitors; determine purpose of visit and direct visitor, inform staff;
Answer telephone and respond to queries or direct to appropriate staff;
Assist scheduling staff to cover sick calls and other shifts following a collective agreement;
Complete clerical work including filing and photocopying;
Perform daily use of the computer including Internet Explorer, Word, Excel and Outlook;
Maintains personal accountability for completion of daily tasks as assigned;
Promote a positive working environment;
Fosters positive customer service with residents and families;
Interaction with the public, residents, families and staff on a regular basis.

Qualifications
