This is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking to work at a job that combines driving, physical labour and customer service skills.

We provide a uniform (shirt/pants/hat/gloves). We offer a very competitive wage, starting at $22 per hour. It's common to be rewarded by the customer with cash tips. Plus, you will be awarded a bonus based on your performance as well as the performance of the company.

You must be able to drive a 3-ton, 16 foot, automatic cube truck in a safe, courteous and defensive manner.

You will produce and maintain accurate Schedule 1 Truck Inspection reports. You will care for the truck as required by standard operating procedures.

The essential duties and responsibilities include lifting, carrying, and loading furniture weighing up to hundreds of pounds onto trucks for transport, including up and down stairs.

You will deliver and set-up furniture inside a client's home, as requested, within committed time frames.

With a demonstrated ability to protect all furniture from damage, you will pack and unpack items in an organized and efficient manner in preparation for moving, selling or donating.

Your honesty and integrity must be evident in all interactions with management, customers, their families and your co-workers.


Functions

• Drive a 14' cube van
• Moving and related services
• Perform pre/post trip truck inspections
• All other duties as assigned

Required

• Must provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Full G license, for a minimum of 6 years experience
• A good driving record
• Physically fit
• Steel toed boots
• You must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Salary:
$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
