Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. has an opportunity for the position of an AZ Float Driver at our Barrie/Simcoe County, ON.

THIS IS A UNIONIZED POSITION)


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Loading and unloading various types of heavy construction and asphalt equipment onto float type and step deck type trailers.
  • Create and maintain all required documentation.
  • Adhere to all M.T.O. regulations including oversize/overweight requirements.
  • Work safely with the willingness to comply with safety initiatives and procedures.
  • General maintenance and visual inspection of equipment, truck, and trailer

What's required:


  • Valid AZ Driver's License; with a clean CVOR driver abstract.
  • 2 years' experience in a similar position including heavy haul and operation of all types of heavy equipment.
  • Capable of driving triaxle Dump Truck with Quad Axle Float for the purpose of floating various pieces of construction equipment.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and communicate with clients and crews.
  • Must be willing and physically able to load equipment and materials, handle, and chain downloads.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, etc.
  • Approved safety footwear: all other PPE will be provided by the Company.
