As an IT support technician - user services, you will provide technical support to users of IT systems for microcomputer equipment (workstations and printers), mobile devices and RF equipment for our client's establishments in Quebec and the Ottawa region.

You will provide assistance and collaborate with the various information systems teams. In addition, you will actively participate in the implementation of technology deployment projects. You will coordinate the activities of service and maintenance providers to deploy and maintain functional equipment and infrastructure.

  • Perform technical support at the following levels:
  • office automation equipment in warehouses, offices and branches;
- mobile devices in warehouses, offices and branches.

  • Provide technical and functional support for audio and video equipment (e.g., videoconferencing);
  • Assist users in the Quebec and Ottawa divisions and branches in the use of computerized systems and equipment;
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge related to the IT environment of the divisions;
  • Configure and install various computer equipment according to information systems standards;
  • Write letters, reports, procedures and documentation required for the department's activities;
  • Support various stakeholders and resources during corporate events, such as shareholder meetings, executive presentations, etc;
  • Participate in and/or coordinate the deployment of new products or technological changes in divisions and branches;
  • Implement new IT technologies and/or perform software upgrades;
  • Participate, with the various stakeholders, in the identification and resolution of problems at the office automation, network, mobile equipment or network infrastructure level;
  • Refer organizational and methodological problems to your superior;
  • Ensure the conformity of the infrastructures necessary for the proper functioning of the IT equipment.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent;
  • Two (2) years of experience in an IT environment (general support);
  • Technical knowledge of: Microsoft Office, Windows, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, iPad, iPhone;
  • Ability to:
- document procedures, write reports and communicate with clients;
- popularize the technology to users, and to work methodically.

  • Good customer service skills;
  • Quality work/service oriented;
  • Good problemsolving and priority management skills;
  • Leadership and autonomy;
  • Communication skills and ability to popularize complex technical topics;
  • Fast and sustained learning;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deliverables and projects simultaneously;
  • Bilingualism essential (French and English, spoken and written)
