Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for a CSA Manager to join our Industrial and Infrastructure Division

About the role

Prepare cost effective structural engineering designs from conceptual design to detail design, tender and construction in accordance with Canadian Codes and Standards.
Perform analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations for industrial and infrastructure projects.
Perform site visits and inspect existing structures. Perform evaluation and analysis of existing structures for modifications and additions and propose reinforcement solutions.
Supervise the work of designers the project team.
Liaise with client representatives and general contractors directly.
Manage small projects primarily led by structural scope.
Maintain and build upon client relationships.
Occasionally manage multidiscipline projects primarily led by structural scope.
Maintain and build upon existing client relationships.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering from a recognized University. (Master's degree would be considered an asset).
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) within the Province of Ontario.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the design of industrial and/or institutional type buildings.
Proven experience and confidence in structural design and certification of various building types and heights, including lateral load analysis.
Proficiency in design of steel structures, reinforced concrete structures, and heavy concrete foundations for buildings and equipment. Masonry design experience is an asset.
Capable of solving more complex building structures and dynamic foundations.
Proficiency in structural engineering design software in one or more of STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, MathCAD, RISA, etc.
Experience with AutoCAD, NavisWorks and Plant 3D would be considered an asset.
Architectural design experience would be an asset.
Experienced in dealing directly with clients and contractors.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products to prepare reports, specifications, presentations, and estimates.
