    Description

    Responsibilities

    :
  • Experienced software and hardware test engineer (10 years of experience in rail business and in testing / validation)
  • Train Control requirements verification and validation.
  • Train Control design documentation analysis.
  • Analysis of low level voltage electrical diagrams.
  • Derive expected results from documents and requirements and determine the conditions, inputs and outputs needed and write the software validation test cases.
  • Create and update Test case design documentation for Train Control.
  • Follow Alstom established processes and procedures.
  • Use of Alstom test tools and environment.
  • Interface with project and business level units (EDU).
  • Participate and contribute to daily project meetings.
  • Work with Agile development methodologies.
  • Fluent English and French.

    • Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Great knowledge of HW and SW interactions within complex system architectures
  • Technical experience with testing in agile development projects
  • Understanding of C/C++ and scripting language like Python
  • Good knowledge of UNIX (Linux)
  • Experience of railway standards or other safety-critical systems is highly valued
  • An outside-the-box approach to testing
  • Decision-making confidence
