Role Description
Education Required:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related fields
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of business development experience in the mineral exploration industry
- Excellent Communication Skills in both English and French are mandatory
- Dynamic, proactive and creative with strong organizational and prioritizing skills
- Detailoriented, strong analytical skills, and ability to multitask
- Possess strong computer skills i.e., MS office, and ability to learn new software packages
- Quality driven with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to network
- Customer focused and high performer
- Flexibility to travel domestically, including Ontario and Quebec as needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to work a variety of schedules including weekends and evenings if required
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business in the mineral exploration industry and grow the division
- Prepare, edit, and execute customized quotations, proposals, and contracts that meet client needs and specifications
- Research, identify, and review target markets and prospective clients with division management
- Evaluate and develop strategic best practices in response to bids
- Exhibit at trade shows and attend industry relevant networking events
- Visit and maintain contact with clients to generate new sales
- Create monthly reports on progress achieved including pipeline, leads, quotes generated and accepted, and more.
- Manage customer expectations regarding service delivery
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on deliverables for customers
- Build strong relationships with Actlabs lab managers to help ensure customer experiences are high

From $50,000.00 per year
