    About the Role

    We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee and manage assigned projects in Health Informatics. The successful candidate will provide leadership to team members, apply change management strategies, and provide expertise on enterprise-wide projects. Responsibilities include guiding teams by consulting with various disciplines and stakeholders within an assigned portfolio by performing tasks such as coordinating feasibility studies, conducting workload efficiency analysis using formal data gathering techniques, analyzing designing implementing appropriate information systems identifying system deficiencies user department operational inefficiencies recommending ways of improving business efficiency functions participating in cross-disciplinary business strategy projects confidential initiatives that support selection procurement implementation information systems applications resulting elimination FTEs serving consultant participating enterprise-wide project under leadership Portfolio Manager serves backup area team leadership or project management preparing status reports meeting clients providing reports required establishing leading assigned information system projects adhering methodologies managing timelines monitoring expenditures variance analysis facilitating change management defining resource needs reporting status Portfolio Manager provides guidance design phases works within budget provides reports raises concerns necessary participates hiring process staff coordinates provides guidance team performs complex problem solving solutions given existing logic difficulties informs potential impacts client conducts workflow development models defines scope objectives plans designs modifies practical manual automated procedures maintains knowledge infrastructure technologies remaining aware current new remains cognizant opportunities emerging trends collaborates support rotation monitors queue sees variety Fraser Health wide health service delivery departments committees task groups internal working corporate ensures application level agreements place written maintained meet expectations capabilities
