Finacial Manager/Experienced Controller/Assistant Controller with 3-5 years of industry experience. An opportunity to develop from the ground up and grow our accounting system and manage the accounting department.It is important that our accounting lead works cohesively and takes a directed team approach to running the accounting office within the Crafted Development network, from our engineering and manufacturing companies to our sales company.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the CEO, the finacial manager will direct, and manage all accounting fuctions across company's brands and future branches.
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Management:
- Overseeing and leading all accounting operations for the company
- Managing, training, and coaching the accounting team
- Managing the Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/Payroll processes, including but not limited to: Cashflow forecasts, Bank reconciliations, Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Managing effective budgeting procedures
- Ensuring seamless implementation and execution of the accounting processes
- Providing leadership and direction to deliver efficient and effective performance of the accounting team
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Creation Reporting on:
- Analyzing cost efficiencies within the organization
- Proposing consistent improvements to existing procedures
- Forecasting budgets and ensuring effective cash management within the organization
- Creating and implementing policies as required for smooth business operations
- Managing tax and financial planning, including reviewing, and consolidating financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements

Specific requirements include:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years as a Controller or 5 years as an Assistant Controller at a mid
- Strong technical accounting skills, including experience preparing financial statements, financial statement consolidations and working with multiple company entities
- Experience with financial forecasting and financial analysis is an asset
- Proven leadership experience managing and coaching an administrative team
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines whilst maintaining outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; strong interpersonal skills
- Computer Skills including advanced Microsoft Excel abilities.
- Experience using various Accounting Software Programs.
- Not required but considered strong assets: Experience working with Explorer/Eclipse and Buildertrend
Salary:
From $90,000.00 per year
