Job Description:

We are seeking highly motivated and capable individual to plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align to standards and frameworks.

You will provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:

As a Business Systems & Data Analyst, you will:

Work with technology partners (e.g. Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendations.
Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, taking into account nonfunctional requirements.
Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
Contribute to project management activities such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, as well as escalating and communicating possible issues.
Work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and pinpoint how to manage integration.
Respect existing processes and standards including requirements management and project management disciplines, technology delivery and business technology architecture, escalating issues as needed.
Work with vendors to support business case development (consistent with technology requirements and guidelines) including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements.
Coach new or less experienced colleagues and serve as a reference point throughout requirements management life cycle.

It helps if you have:

26 years of Business Systems & Data Analyst experience in data analytics/data warehouse/data integration through agile environment.
Experience with documenting user stories, planning and managing product backlog, planning and managing sprints, and implementing in an iterative manner.
Strong experience in data analysis, profiling, cleanup, data wrangling and validation. Handson experience building data quality checks and writing complex SQL queries.
Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work seamlessly in an agile crossfunctional team, with clients, vendor(s) and other stakeholders.
Experience working with Jira, Confluence.
Experience with Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, DataBricks, python, Synapse/SQL Server, Azure Scheduler, Autosys, Tableau
Solid knowledge of metadata management principles, metadata modeling and writing metadata definitions.
Handon experience in capturing Data Lineage and Data Mapping between Source and Target systems.
Experience with Production Support to investigate issues and propose solutions to fix them.
Proven experience with all stages of automated system implementation in complex solutions, with online and batch processing of transactions.
AZ900/DP900 certifications preferred
