Detailed Overview:
Assists in coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs and policies for Fraser Health, Vancouver Coastal Health, Provincial Health Services Authority and Providence Health Care (collectively, the

- ) in accordance with applicable legislation and consistent with the Organizations' environmental initiatives


Responsibilities:

  • Assists in coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of TDM programs and policies for the Organizations in accordance with applicable legislation and consistent with the Organizations' environmental initiatives.
  • Coordinates the workflow of the Organizations' TDM programs and initiatives by organizing operating procedures in order to meet the needs and requirements of the assigned programs and initiatives
  • Coordinates and administers TDM initiatives such as transit incentives, shuttle services, car/van pooling, car share services, cycling programs, Transit Fairs, Green Commuters Club and network of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS).
  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders regarding sustainable transportation practices, initiatives and projects to facilitate program initiatives, compiles information, collects data and shares information.
  • Assists in investigating new technologies for TDM and assists in the evaluation of new products to ensure products meet environmental objectives.
  • Identifies employee demand and usage of alternate transportation requirements by conducting employee surveys.
  • Promotes staff awareness of TDM activities by providing information regarding their role in reducing demand on parking; responds to inquiries.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience


Grade 12, graduation from a recognized secretarial program and three years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.


Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to type 60 w.p.m.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work.
