The unit secretary is a valuable member whose role has a significant impact on the efficient and effective operation of the unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for both clerical and reception duties within any clinical area of the hospital through the Float Team. Reception duties and telephone communication in this very sensitive and complex area. Answer and monitor the patient call bell system. Providing information related to patient care as authorized by the Patient Care Manager or her delegate. Recording, organizing, inputting and filing of physician orders in the computer.
