    WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

    Reporting to the Sr. Director, Third Party IT Risk Management, this role – Senior Manager, Third Party IT Risk - will be responsible for identification, evolution, and oversight of effective IT Risk Management practices for RBC Third Party relationships.

    This role also supports the Vice President, Global IT Risk to regularly inform Executive Management about key risk issues requiring their attention. The ideal candidate will have extensive Technology and Cyber industry experience combined with related qualifications or certifications.

    Additionally, we seek someone with strong IT and IT Risk management backgrounds combined with proven experience leading, motivating, inspiring, and promoting a culture of high performance that celebrates inclusivity and innovation.

    What will you do?

    • Enhance and evolve TPITR practices with an emphasis on proper identification, treatment, reporting and monitoring of risk.
    • Enhance Control Assurance processes and Continuous Monitoring capabilities.
    • Look for the opportunity to continuously enhance / evolve internal capabilities.
    • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, team members, and other internal business partner groups.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment between Global IT Risk and Global Cyber Security initiatives.
    • Develop and enhance TPITR intelligence and reporting frameworks unlocking proactive management of risk.
    • Provide insights through an ongoing process of gathering, analyzing, and reporting actionable messaging to risk owners.
    • Establish practices and communications to foster a culture of effective risk management.

    What do you need to succeed?

    Must Have:

    • Expertise in several Information Security and/or Information Technology disciplines (e.g., AI/GenAI, Cloud Computing, Platform, Network, Application Development, Penetration Testing, etc.).
    • exposure to multi region Regulatory guidelines related to IT, Cyber and TPRM
    • Advanced working experience with security control frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, etc.).
    • Industry recognized qualifications and certifications in Information Security and/or Risk Management (CISSP /CRISC).
    • Ability to partner with diverse stakeholder communities in complex scenarios with excellent liaison, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Experienced relationship management with the ability to drive positive behaviors.

    Nice to Have:

    • Demonstrated experience developing and applying best practices in large scale Information Security, Technology Risk or Vendor Risk environments.
    • Good understanding of Database and Data Science principles.
    • Working experience with project management methodology.
    • Working experience with GRC technologies.
