Responsibilities include:

• Electrical control panel building in a neat and organized method
• Knowledge of wide variety of electrical devices, variable frequency drives, servo drives, PLC, AC/DC drives, proximity, capacitive sensors and limit switches
• Installing and wiring electrical components
• Field machine wiring, EMT (pipe bending), liquidtight, rigid wire with or without drawings
• Troubleshooting
• Read and interpret component manuals

Qualifications:

• 35 years of related experience
• Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Effective planning, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem solving ability and analytical skills
• Commitment and initiative for continuous improvement
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize work
• Strong desire to learn and excel within the field, interest in career growth
• Able to speak, read and write effectively in English
• Able to be flexible and work in a team oriented environment
• Post secondary education focused in Electrical or Electrical/Mechanical Technology an asset
• Ontario Electrical License
• Ability to generate electrical drawings an asset
