Description

The Kumon Vancouver-Killarney is looking for part-time teaching assistants to work with students ranging from preschool to high school in an after school math and reading program.

The role is part-time with availability requirements on Monday, and/or Tuesday, and/or wednesday (2-6 PM) and/or Thursday, and/or Friday

  • 3:00 pm to 7 pm.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be comfortable working with children.
  • Must be proficient in Math and English (an assessment test will be required).
  • Experience working with children or tutoring is a plus.
  • Being an exKUMON student is a plus. However, training will be provided.
  • Must produce RCMP Background and Vulnerability Check clearance.

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week


Salary:
$16.75-$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
