    Position Details

    Position Information Position Title Part-Time Academic: HAHP 2000 Human Growth and Development - Winter Posting Number PTAP2463P Department/Unit Health & Human Performance Location Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Job Summary & Key Responsibilities For a detailed description of each course, please refer to the course description in the 2024/25 Academic Calendar (timetable listings subject to change). The successful applicant is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class including planning and directing classroom-based activities, marking assignments, and providing tutorial support to the students as required during the respective terms.

    Please note: As we are unable to reschedule courses or their location, please refer to the academic timetable before applying for this position to ensure it will fit with your schedule. Qualifications/Requirements of Position Graduate degree in Kinesiology, Health Promotion or Recreation and Leisure Studies with demonstrated teaching ability preferred.

    Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement Additional Information All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
