Job Summary
As a Selections Coordinator, you are dedicated to creating a remarkable customer experience.

As a Selections Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the design process for projects from conception to completion.

Your responsibilities will include managing selections, collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring that design objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.


What You Will Be Working On

Design Coordination:


  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to understand project requirements and design objectives.
  • Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with design team members to ensure consistency and coherence across all design elements.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into projects.

Selection Management:


  • Manage the selection process for finishes, fixtures, materials, and furnishings.
  • Source and evaluate products and materials based on quality, cost, and design specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of selections, including specifications, samples, and pricing.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to ensure costeffective procurement.
  • Coordinate sample procurement and presentation for client approval.

Project Coordination:


  • Work closely with construction teams to integrate design selections into project schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper implementation of design specifications.
  • Monitor progress and address any designrelated issues or changes during the construction phase.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect workmanship and ensure adherence to design standards.

Client Interaction:


  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding design selections and progress updates.
  • Facilitate client meetings to review design options, make selections, and address concerns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in interior design, preferably in a coordinating or project management role.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel to sites as needed.
  • Ability to react quickly to changes, while keeping alignment with longterm direction
  • Motivated by complexity and challenges; energized by evolving, exciting environments
  • Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problemsolving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
