    St. Mary's/CBM is a leading employer, producer, and supplier of Ready-Mix Concrete. We have an exciting opportunity for a few lucky persons to join our Plant Maintenance Team

    If you possess initiative, are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors, this opportunity is for you

    Entry level individuals are welcome This path will take a person with minimal technical knowledge or experience and with the addition of theoretical instruction and practical hands-on training, develop them into a qualified licensed Plant Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright.

  • General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Repairs and preventive maintenance for several ready-mix concrete plants that includes pumps, water systems, conveying systems, piping, boiler operation, air compressor systems and controls, in addition to other power driven rotating equipment.
  • Work on this equipment includes both indoor and outdoor maintenance activities year round.
  • Travel across territory to various locations in a company truck.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:

  • Safety oriented team player
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Initiative and ability to learn through practical "hands on" working experience and theoretical instruction.
  • Minimum class G valid Ontario Driver's license, with satisfactory 3 year drivers abstract
  • Own, or willing to secure, a basic set of hand tools
