The Role:


The Marketing Team plays a pivotal role at Mackenzie by leading the development of effective digital media plans and strategies that are aligned to corporate goals, objectives, and strategies.

The Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for providing planning and strategic support in the development of Mackenzie's annual paid media plan and strategic digital initiatives.


Major responsibilities include:


  • Lead the integration of digital media into the overall marketing mix and develop executional plans that deliver exceptional results.
  • Coordinate across internal teams including compliance, product marketing, creative and media buying agencies to develop fullfunnel digital strategies for brand and product focused media campaigns.
  • Partner with digital analytics and media buying agency to measure the effectiveness of marketing investments finding opportunities and actions to iterate and improve campaign performance and impact.
  • Contribute to the digital campaign planning across multiple channels including keyword selection and audience targeting.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and standard processes.
  • Edit and write social/digital content using best SEO practices.
  • Identify problems/deficiencies and recommend/implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Work with a crossfunctional team to develop and implement a testing agenda, including audiences, user experience, creative, landing page, and channel/partner/platform expansions.
  • Identify problems/deficiencies and recommend/implement solutions in a timely manner.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in digital functions including (but not limited to) digital strategy, content marketing, social media, user experience and SEO development.
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem inclusive of data, programmatic, social, and mobile, with a working knowledge of search (SEO/SEM).
  • Working knowledge of ad operations (tagging, ad serving, etc.)
  • Solid computer skills and understanding of digital workflow.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to measure content performance and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of visual design principals
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of the Canadian financial services landscape and its unique parameters.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, asset categories and/or investment product experience is preferred.
  • Proven success working with sales distribution and product management/investment teams.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills at multiple levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Finish

Education:


  • A University degree with an emphasis on Marketing, Business Administration or Economics.
