Job Description:
We are searching for a child care provider willing to work near Elm Creek, Manitoba. We are due with our second son at the end of April 2024 and do not have access to parental leave from work this year.

We are looking for someone to start early to mid May to care for our newest infant - he will be 1-2 weeks old at this time. I (mom) primarily work from home as a large animal vet and will be around the yard and in the on-site veterinary clinic most of the time. I will not leave the yard without the baby; travel along to farm-call appointments may be required.

Our oldest son is 3 years old and is in full-time daycare. He may require occasional care, but the focus of this position is newborn care and house-keeping, laundry, and meal-prep.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience and responsibilities.

Services And Training:
My family requires help with newborn care, cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry, and meal preparation. We are located on a rural property approximately 6.5 miles from Elm Creek, so a drivers license is required. The ideal employee would have Food-safe certification but it is not necessary to apply. A criminal record check and First Aid/CPR is required.
