Foothills Centre is an adult detoxification facility located in Fort Macleod. We provide an environment in which clients may safely withdraw from substance abuse.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of High School diploma
- Knowledge in the addictions field
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Criminal Records Check; including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of performing job task with mínimal supervision
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Client Care Assistant I with client care, nonmedical treatment and housekeeping duties of the Centre
- Assist in gathering and collecting data on clients
- Assist in maintaining adequate records as required for that shift
- Assist in meal distribution on pertaining shift
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Client Care Assistant I
- Willingness to work night shift / weekends / oncall
Shift differential:
night shift -.40/hour, weekend shift -.50/hour.
