ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking to add a new Material Handler to our growing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loads materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks and shelves, or vehicles, such as trucks.
- Unload trucks, receive materials in to the ERP System and place in to the designated areas.
- Monitor quality of incoming goods in accordance with quality requirements.
- Replenish the assembly line and packaging sections when materials are running low.
- Perform stock counts and work with purchasing to ensure the required materials are on hand and inventory levels are maintained.
- Dump self dumping hoppers with the fork lift truck daily to maintain plant cleanliness.
- Assist in the shipping section when additional help is required.
- Stage, shrink wrap and ship customer orders when additional help is required.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous. improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Other duties as assigned
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of experience with Counterbalance and Raymond Reach.
- Must be hardworking and have a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent time management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both within a team and independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English Fluently.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be comfortable working with computers.
- On the job training will be provided.
Salary:
From $20.00 per hour
