    Job Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of Body-in-White (BIW) Automatic process equipment, tools, and related facilities for new model assembly production across various assembly plants.
  • Drive continuous improvement in BIW processes and equipment, ensuring alignment with cost and timing requirements of the program.
  • Evaluate and coach employees, setting clear and achievable goals for direct reports, and maintaining a system to support them in achieving these goals.
  • Oversee manufacturing process engineers responsible for the development of the BIW assembly process and tooling for new vehicle launches.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments (Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality, etc.) to understand vehicle components/subsystems and use this information to generate process sheets, assembly layouts, and installation tooling.
  • Lead Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities with the platform team for new or critical processes.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • +3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven program/project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively work and interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficient presentation and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
