The opportunity
EY's Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice is a consulting unit that provides risk management support to banks, insurers and asset managers.
Our team includes individuals who have industry, client and product knowledge as well as quantitative, regulatory, project management and technology professionals.
We are seeking a Manager with machine learning & AI experience to join our team.Along with our team, you'll work together to coordinate the delivery of risk management, regulatory and business performance services to a variety of clients, including commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations.
Your key responsibilities
The FSRM Manager - AI, Risk & Tech Enabled Solutions will be involved in all aspects of the delivery of financial risk services to consulting and assurance client accounts.
The Manager will be responsible for engagement oversight and delivery; team management and coaching; engagement execution; engagement economics and reporting, as well as developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients.
Skills and attributes for success
- Possess strong analytical and problemsolving skills, and ideally demonstrated knowledge in credit, market risk, model risk, and operational risk measurement and management
- Selfmotivated and willing to ask probing questions to identify client opportunities
- Possess strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills to describe ideas, concepts, and issues that involve interpretation, analysis, and assessment of complex conceptual topics
To qualify for the role you must have
- Quantitative Graduatelevel University degree required; Ph.
- 5 years of experience in advanced analytics ideally intersecting with financial services risk management
- Experience working with data and performing related analysis. Experience and knowledge of machine learning models including deep learning models. Experience with Large Language Models is highly desirable.
- Experience in Python programming language. Experience in other programming languages such as SAS, R, and MATLAB will be taken into consideration.
- Experience of contribution to opensource libraries is highly desirable.
- Possess the desire and ability to work closely with quantitative and technology professionals on engagements. Experience working on MLOps platforms is desirable.
- Demonstrated project or engagement management ability to plan and execute projects/engagements to a successful conclusion
- Possess a selfstarting attitude, and ability to think outside the box and thrive on new challenges
- Experience working in a banking environment with a welldeveloped risk management culture and infrastructure or comparable experience working as an advisor to financial services companies is an asset, similarly for CFA or FRM certifications
- French speaking ability is an asset
