Your tasks

  • Prepare and harvest spores
  • Maintain appropriate supplies used in the laboratory.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment consistent with ISO standards and procedures.
  • Document and maintain records related to laboratory activities, analysis, and inform Quality Lab Coordinator of anomalies.
  • Maintain sterile conditions in the laboratory facility and carry out regular analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of sanitation protocols.
  • Partner with the fermentation team to resolve qualityrelated issues.
  • Assist the Lab Technician as required.
  • Directly responsible for ensuring that all health, safety and security procedures are observed and maintained at all times.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Your profile

  • Postsecondary degree in a science field preferably with a microbiology focus.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience in a similar industry.
  • ISO experience an asset

Reporting to the Quality Lab Coordinator, the job holder ensures the production of quality spores for the fermentation process while working in a safe manner.

Ensuring the availability of quality spores for the fermentation process at all times and contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a safe workplace will contribute to the success of the company.

Salary:
$24.12-$28.78 per hour
