    Description
    One of our clients is looking for a Maintenance Millwright (Mechanic) in Surrey, BC for their service.
    Shift: 8 hour rotation

    The candidate will be responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.

    The candidate should be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, and will provide measurable improvements and enhancements systems.

    The candidate shall be able to plan and perform complex corrective and preventative maintenance requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical theories and principles.

    The candidate will be responsible to optimize and effectively accomplish all work and work orders (from the breakdown to condition-based) and lead in the development of rules and controls over the planning and scheduling efforts.

    The candidate should contribute to measurable improvements in scheduled, and unscheduled and breaks down maintenance-related downtime and the costs associated with these events to contribute to CPC (cost per case) goals for each plant and shares best practices across and within the enterprise.

    The candidate should hold Interprovincial Journeyman License along with Millwright or (Dual Ticket Electrician/Millwright)
    The candidate should hold 5 years of production/line machine maintenance experience.
