We are currently seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and customer-focused Solar Installer to join our growing team. If you have a passion for renewable energy and want to make a positive impact, we would love to hear from you


Responsibilities:

• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties according to design specifications and safety standards
• Assemble and install solar modules, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment
• Connect solar panels and electrical systems, ensuring proper voltage and configuration
• Perform site inspections and assessments to determine the best installation approach
• Troubleshoot and maintain solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance and address any issues
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with customers to ensure a seamless installation experience
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry advancements and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in solar installation or a related field (e.g. electrical, roofing, construction)
• Working at Heights certification and a valid driver's license
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret design schematics and electrical diagrams
• Excellent problemsolving, communication, and customer service skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and on different types of roofs

Assets:

• Solar installation or electrician certification
• Experience with battery storage systems

Salary:
$22.00-$30.43 per hour
