Project Development SpecialistAre you looking to challenge yourself in a role where you can enhance your project development and management skills? Do you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments?
As a Project Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of various projects while partnering with other teams and vendors.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.
What you will do:
- Manage overall project timelines and ensure on budget delivery of merchandising, display, and minor construction projects.
- Support Store Design Leadership, and Program and Product Managers on the deployment of largescale projects.
- Assemble and coordinate project teams of SMEs, Specialists, and Managers from various functions throughout the business.
- Partner with the Store Design Leadership team to resolve any issues and risks.
- Collaborate with external vendors, partners and thirdparty labour teams on projects.
- Work closely with business owners, Program Managers, Store Design Director, and other stakeholders throughout the project to communicate projects updates and statuses.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation for projects and processes. Work with a management tool for project submissions and to help provide guidance for users.
- Contribute ideas, proactively bring up challenges and collaborate to determine potential solutions to those challenges.
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years' experience with project management process
- Experience with MS Suite
- Previous experience with a Big Box retailer at the Management/Supervisory level
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications field
