Description

We are recruiting for a very reputable client, hiring for Colour Matchers located in Brampton.

Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a similar role.

Operators will be responsible:

  • Transporting ink and other materials to and from the Ink Room
  • Reading specs from dockets to identify ink colours required and prioritize jobs
  • Formulating colours using ink dispenser
  • Assist Colour Matcher in prepress colour matching for upcoming work orders
  • Maintain job filing system and job costing (paperwork)

Use GT and other computerized systems such as Novaflow, X-Rite
Shifts are 8hr rotationals (morning, afternoon and night), with the shift rotating every 2 weeks.


Required Skills:


  • Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.

Salary:
$20.00-$21.34 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • English not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evenings
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
