Advanced Care Paramedic to join our HSE Team to support our
Blackfalds module yard.

SCHEDULE: 5 days on, 2 days off

HOURS PER DAY:

ACCOMODATIONS:Local Position (No LOA)

Requirements:

Advanced Care Paramedic Certificate or nurse who holds an EMR is a _
requirement_


- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certificate or certificate/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety_**:

  • an asset/preferred **_
  • In depth knowledge of HSE Management systems
  • 8+ years of construction site safety experience
  • Previous HSE management experience in construction or module yard environments an asset
  • Advance First Aid (current) an asset
  • Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as: MS Office suite of tools
  • Interpersonal skills establish direct working relationships and rapport with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to appropriately handle highly confidential information and situations.
  • Ensure all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously improve the strategic HSE action plans in alignment with corporate HSE management systems.
  • Builds and maintains positive working relationships with key stakeholders and project personnel.
  • Recruit and allocate necessary HSE resources and direct a team of project HSE professionals.
  • Ensures the Project operates within Worley Corporate, Customer and legislative HSE requirements and expectations.
  • Assists with the implementation of assurance and sustainability plans and tools with local offices.
  • Support preventative action management processes and corrective actions.
  • Act as a liaison and provide interpretation of appropriate OH&S legislation as it applies to the Project.
  • Provide guidance on the company incident management protocol inclusive of root cause analysis and identification of preventative measures.
  • Track and report HSE performance metrics inclusive of both leading / lagging indicators and analyze trends on the basis of continuous improvement.
  • Take a leading role in emergency preparedness planning specific to potential emergency scenarios.
  • Measures and manages HSE program and performance through assessments to achieve targeted business output and improvement levels.
  • Stays current with local, provincial and federal legislation and acts as an ambassador for Worley with clients and in the community.

Salary:
$55.00-$65.00 per hour
