Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Operations Manager, Transportation.
Customer Contact:
- Be point of contact for Customers and Team Members to inform of any updates/status changes.
- Liaise with Dispatch to confirm order details
- Receive order confirmations and verify that pickup and delivery dates/times line up with how customer was rated
- Request paperwork such as customs documents and updated bills from customers
- Coordinate with Order Entry by sending orders and responding to their questions
CSR - Customs:
- Collect all pertinent paperwork for customs processing
- Work with Brokers on CBSA website to ensure accurate shipments
- Prepare ACE and ACI manifests
- Provide drivers with competed paperwork
Track and Trace:
- Follow up on any deliveries performed by a Third Party Carrier
- Monitor all TP websites for updates
- Enter updates into TMW
- Close delivered loads in TMW
- Follow up with Carriers for POD's
- Customer Reports
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of customer orders
Other Duties:
- Assisting others in the department as instructed by their supervisor.
- General office duties.
- Crosstrain to provide vacation coverage.
Education, Experience and / or Training Requirements:
years experience with customer service and customs.
- Experience with a computerized warehousing software system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in transportation industry is an asset
