Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Able to understand equipment systems to effectively and efficiently determine the necessary route for repairs
  • Experienced, competent and able to repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy duty equipment
  • Check dozers, haul trucks, excavators and other heavy construction and mining equipment for proper performance
  • Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions
  • Repair and replace defective parts, components and/or systems
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and that it meets or exceeds manufacturer's specifications

Qualifications:
(experience needed and education)


  • A minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience with CAT, Komatsu, John Deere and Hitachi an asset
  • The ability to lift and manage 50 pounds without assistance

Salary:
$ / hour plus overtime


Bonus:
Possible annual and remote work location bonuses offered of up to 12% annual salary equivalency

Job Type:

Full-time permanent, 14 days on duty and 14 days off equal to 80 hours of regular + 88 hours of overtime per rotation.


Language:
At least intermediate English is required.
